Some of the things we might suggest include:

• Replacing plants, trees, shrubs and turf that are prone to disease and pests
• Mulching or planting ground covers to reduce weed invasions and decrease water consumption
• Spacing plants for better air circulation, water absorption and reducing potential for disease and insects in some varieties
• Companion gardening – plants that co-exist well together because they use different nutrients in the soil or varying amounts of water

Hazard Tree Analysis

All trees have the potential to become hazardous at some stage in their life. As trees age, they become susceptible to disease, insects, decay and other hazards. At McKenzie Landscaping we perform a hazard tree analysis to identify any future problems to prevent damage before it occurs.

McKenzie's certified arborists will come to your home or business and determine the overall health, soil, integrity and possible diseases or defects of your trees and recommend the necessary treatments to help prevent tree disease, property damage, and personal injury. We can also determine and recommend proper tree pruning, pruning to reduce weight, or installing cables or rods for bracing. If these recommendations and treatments do not significantly reduce the risk of loss, then tree removal may be considered to prevent personal injury or property damage.
